So what happens it that my mom calls me up and tells me that she hasn't done anything for lunch and my dad has to go to work within one hour after he comes back home. So she tells me to prepare lunch.
I quickly think of something that I could make. I was blank as always because I don't really remember what I had cooked and what I cook well.
Suddenly I got an idea, why not make something that I have not cooked previously.
So, I thought of the things that were possible to make and what my parents would like to eat. I thought of making pulao. But not the regular pulao everyone eats. I prepared a "Multi Layered Pulao" the way the make the Dampuk Biryani.
I checked out what all was there in the fridge and then took the things required out and started preparing. The dish being a hit was loved by my parents.

Now after some time in another microwaveable bowl put one layer of rice then a layer of masala and repeat the same again and again till both of them end. Put them in the microwave and heat them at 900 degrees for 5 mins. Then serve hot with the raita of your choice.

- 100gm Peas
- 100gm Paneer
- 2 Onions
- 2 Potatoes
- 2 cups Basmati Rice
- Oil
- Salt
- Turmeric
- Garam Masala
- Corriender Powder
- 4 CLoves
- Cumin Seeds
- Cumin Powder
- 2 tsp Lemon Juice
Procedure:-

To Make The Masala:-
- Take 1 tbsp Oil in a pan and heat it for some time
- Add the cumin seeds in it and let them cook till they turn golden brown
- Now add diced pieces of potato in the pan
- Also at the same time add diced pieces of onion
- Add 2 cloves, salt, garam masala, cumin powder, corriender powder into the pan and mix well
- After some time when the potato and onions turn golden brown add turmeric to it
- Check if the taste is alright and correct it if it is not
- After some time take it off the burner and keep it aside with a lid covering it
- The masala is ready
To Make The Rice:-
- Keep the rice soaked in water for some time before you cook it
- Put half a centimeter water more than the level of the rice and put it on the stove at medium flame in a pressure cooker
- Add lemon juice to it (This will give the rice a shiny look)
- Add 1 tbsp oil
- Add some salt
- Cover it with the lid and switch off the flame after 1 whistle or 5 minutes
